Shareline 1.2.0 Latest
NewThe welcome finds the file servers on your network for you. Pick one, add the share name, and you're connected. You can also paste an address you already use.
NewWhen a connection fails, Shareline says why in plain words: wrong name or password, server can't be reached, share not found, and more. It also highlights the part of the address to fix and tells you what to try next.
New“Pick a Share on This Server…” opens macOS's own sign-in window and saves whichever share you choose.
NewRoutes can switch by themselves when you join a network. Shareline recognises the network by its router, so it never needs your location. A route can also switch when a server answers, which suits a VPN.
NewA clear explanation of how passwords are kept in your Keychain, and “Forget Saved Password” on every line.
ImprovedAFP lines show that AFP works only up to macOS 26, and “Switch to SMB” moves a line over in one click. On macOS 27 and later, Shareline tells you AFP isn't available instead of failing silently.
ImprovedSave & Connect stays open until the line is connected, so you see the result right away.
FixedThe window's sidebar no longer looks inactive: its icons now carry Shareline blue.
